BUSINESS MANAGEMENT (Bachelor's Degree)
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
This program offers students an education necessary for a career in business management. Students are offered a well-rounded education with business courses in management, marketing, finance, accounting, statistics and law. In addition, coursework content includes e-business, international business, business operations, project management, and interpersonal skills. The capstone course allows students to put the knowledge and skills learned in designing a business plan. This program is designed to enhance career opportunities in business management.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVE:
The following objectives are designed to meet the school's mission and program goals:
· To develop students' abilities to understand business concepts, terms and theories
· To prepare students for jobs in the fields of business management including e-business opportunities
· To assist students in becoming more proficient in analysis, decision making and aspects of business management
· To develop student understanding of business law
· To develop students understanding of international business and the effects of globalization
· To assist students in putting learned concepts into practice
