The First Jewish Marriage
Teacher: Rabbi Hershel Reichman
Class:

Partners for Life: Chassidic Perspectives on Marriage

Added: August 06, 2009
Class Number: 5 of 5
Time: 56:18

In this Torah class (shiur) on the Chassidic outlook on marriage, Rabbi Hershel Reichman presents the marriage of Avraham and Sarah, the first Jewish marriage, as the prototype for all Jewish marriages.  Avraham Avinu's main trait was his intellect.  Sarah's main trait was strength of character.  Thus, the wife primarily deals with the physical/emotional level, and the husband with the intellectual/Torah level.  This Torah class is available online in streaming video and for download in mp3 and ipod video formats.
